Sweeney Todd Entry 6

This is a horizontal concept that I am submitting. Again, we see the sepia tone and the blood splats. I submitted 3 more images, again, each with one less element. Blood, Hue on Seat, and no blood. I honestly believe number 5 to be the best of them all.... the hue on the seat, I actually used that based on the direction of the existing movie poster. Since the black and white on color theme was something they had originally implemented into their design, I thought it suitable to stay consistent with that idea.

Overall, these images worked very well together. The larger picture of Johnny was very useful for separating angular halves of my canvas. His arm literally slices the page in two, much like the heart, much like the theme...it's consistent.

Now.... I wanted to get a solid isolation of the Sweeney Todd Barber Chair. Since this is initially the place of all the murders in the movie, I figure a little bit of isolation and dramatic lighting ought to fix that up.

Now, I haven't quite yet seen the movie, nor had time to really do the research behind this movie, so I have to assume there is a tragic love theme playing out, and that the woman included in the resources package must be her... so this is why I used an isolated picture of that woman superimposed between Johnny Depp's line of sight....and his weapon of murder.

I guess you could say since she is between those two areas, his eyes, and his blade, that the vengeance, or revenge, or just overall murderous rampage is all on her behalf.

Well, that covers the imagery, and if you've seen my other submissions, you notice that I reused my border graphic. Yes.....gold is nice. I was wondering if I should flip the interior graphic on the border for this submission. Perhaps if I win, I can spend another two hours adjusting it (but im a little tired now).
